Chrissy & Doug

Chrissy and Doug are engaged to be married September 2012 at Minter Gardens in Chilliwack.  What a lovely couple - lucky for us the decent weather held out just a little while longer. Fall is such a tricky time to plan an outdoor shoot but it was definitely worth it!

We chose Fort Langley for our location - between Aldergrove and Chilliwack  - a perfect location for engagement photos. Lots of variety of backdrops - so many colors!

We started at the CN Rail Museum and lucked out when the train came right before we left. Now I am totally hooked on photographing portraits in front of moving trains. I cant wait to do it again!

The train is coming... well eventually it did. A boy on a walkie-talkie told us it was coming and he was right. I had to give my instructions to Chrissy and Doug before the train came because we were so close  to it - I knew it would be loud! And they did great!

A quick wardrobe change and a romantic stroll along the river.

Then off to the Fort Langley Community Hall. What a beautiful building. I knew Doug was itching to get to the turkey dinner waiting for the both of them... understandably but he held in there until we wrapped up.

They totally rocked their Canucks Jerseys!

Chrissy and Doug did so great on their engagement shoot! They are naturals! I totally look forward to shooting their wedding in September and meeting all of their families and friends. Good luck with all the planning you guys!
